The Pivot

Montecasino, Johannesburg’s top entertainment precinct, introduces The Pivot, a joint venture development between Tsogo Sun, Abland and Absa.

Freeway access connecting the N1 highway is conveniently situated off the William Nicol off ramp within 2 km of the Montecasino Precinct. Entry to The Pivot will be gained via Montecasino Boulevard which can be accessed by William Nicol Drive as well as Witkoppen Road.

The breaking new ground development will be completed in May 2010. Conceived as a walled Tuscan Village, the architectural theme marries an old world tradition and sense of history with a modern feel incorporating contemporary design elements. The Pivot is being developed in response to the demand for a third hotel in the Montecasino vicinity and the success of the Palazzo Tower Offices.

The four star Southern Sun hotel with 194 rooms, is perfectly positioned to meet the increased demand for accommodation during the 2010 soccer event and beyond. Safe access – controlled basement parking and surface level parking is available  for the hotel and office development.
